Sewing/Storytelling

Many days and night I sit back and take a moment to write down what I am going through, this has been the easiest form of coping through much larger emotions. Due to my long struggle with coping outwardly, Journaling and photography have been my strongest facets on how to overcome struggles. Beyond the Pages No.1 is the beginning of a continuing project that combines journaling, sewing and photography. Each represent a part of a journal entry that speak on certain emotions or experiences I had endured that time. By sewing each image I was able create on each image to control the emotion similar to was puppet strings do. This project is to share the emotions beyond the pages of my very own journal.
